how to speed up your WINDOWS 7

The best way to speed up windows seven and 8.1 is to uninstall them and go back to windows XP Pro.  In leiu of that,  The more updates MS installs simply slows everything down because they are not a seemless part of the OS.
If you arent heavy into networking (like a business network)  you dont need ANY of the hundreds of "security updates".  Always have windows firewall turned on and set to default and windows defender on and set to default and you are good to go.  Turning off Aero and all that custom glitzy shit will turn your unit into ALMOST as good as an XP Pro machine!  If you are experimental like me, you can install SOME "modern" files from win 7 and win 8.1 INTO your XP OS.
If it crashes just use System Restore.  I hate to hurt anyones feelings, but a well-tuned XP Pro beats the crap out of 7 and 8.1.  I tried the windows 10 preview and already determined I will stay with my finely tuned XP Pro.  I have also found that AMD system boards DO, infact beat intel Boards at routine tasks.  The Intels out perform AMD ONLY in intensive processes and multi threading, where the AMD excell in multi TASKING and basic daily use.
Also do you really nedd 32 bit graphics on your desktop?  NO! only if you do photo editing.  Reducing your graphics adapter to 24 bits will significantly increase performance, while still giving good gaming.  XP Pro with an add-in graphics card will free up your CPU and memory for even more performance gain.
